Once you’ve chosen the date for your wedding, another important date to set is the hen and stag night.

There is an increasing trend to have hen or stag weekends or even whole weeks away.  Overseas single sex parties and holidays are popular as the hens and stags aim to have a great send off with their friends.

There is also a trend towards ‘hag’ nights – having a combined hen and stag event.

The combined do’s have come about because, for some, the age of the wedding couple has increased.  Or they’ve been together longer before they get married.  They’ve got more mutual friends, both male and female, that they want to celebrate with.
